For the past few months, I’ve been on the lookout for a new luxury wallet. It’s been a minute since my last luxury wallet purchase over a decade ago – during the time I still carried a checkbook. Nowadays, as I continually endeavor to carry less items on the daily, I was particularly interested in a compact wallet that still provided the functionality I desired.
As a make-shift endeavor, I purchased a couple of compact RFID protected cute leather wallets from Amazon. That said, I have longed for an upgrade.
I knew that I wanted a piece that had ample card slots, a billfold, and a compartment for my uber thick business cards. As an avid networker, I always carry business cards and often in a separate case, thus adding to my overall handbag load.
After many sessions online and in-store visits, with the helpful assistance of Ricardo (Sales Associate at LV in The Mall at Short Hills) I discovered the ideal wallet-business card case solution for me in the LV Lou wallet.
Not only is the Lou delightfully compact, but also it exudes elegance with a nice pop of color in the design I chose, Monogram with Fuchsia. It easily houses my ID, credit cards, bills, and the zipper compartment perfectly holds a copious amount of my business cards.
So, for Valentine’s Day this year, my amazing husband gifted me the LV Lou wallet. The experience surrounding the purchase was delightful, thanks to Ricardo who hosted us for a special in-store Valentine’s Day event replete with champagne and flowers.
